And so it begins... Most of you don't even know yet, but I am pregnant. 4 weeks and 5 days to be exact. Due date will be June 27th. Yes, I know, yet another June birthday. It must be a good month. Anywho...I have decided to start a blog to keep my my family in the loop on my 9 month adventure. I'm not sure that I'm technologically advanced enough to even work this thing!!! Onto my first post.....
Eric and I have been planning this for about half a year. We have talked about everything from names to things we might do in the future to the infamous baby budget. If you know anything about me, you could guess I already have a very detailed excel spreadsheet planning out this poor child's life. We chose this time of year because we thought it would be very exciting to tell everyone around the table at Thanksgiving dinner. After a few monkey wrenches, we finally have a rough game plan on how to tell each one of you the great news.
Soooo. I took my my test on the 19th of October, which came out positive. I quickly set up an appointment for the next day. I met with Dr. Richardson, who was super nice. I had a whole list of questions for her. She must have thought I was nuts. She is also pregnant, which makes me both nervous and excited. I don't want to miss out on too many appointments with her when she's out but it would be nice to have someone who went through the experience so recently. My first ultrasound is scheduled for the 11th of November, which is a couple days after my 7th week. We'll keep you updated.
We will be making decisions about doctors and touring 2 hospitals (Mercy Gilbert & Banner Gateway) in the next couple weeks.
